Need a Lawyer?

Sometimes a person needs a lawyer. I'm not the litigation type but recently I've had to hire an attorney and it was the best decision I could have made. My readers in the Northeast may be interested in this.

Simmons, Jannace & Stagg, LLP practices in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. The firm has achieved the highest peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which rates legal ability and ethical standards. Ten years ago, they began as a litigation firm focusing on commercial and general liability litigation. Today, they are a highly respected full service law firm practicing throughout the tri-state area. In addition to their core practice of commercial and general liability litigation, their practice areas include labor and employment , arbitrations and litigation, securities law, banking and consumer litigation, bankruptcy and creditors rights, corporate transactions, municipal law, real estate, zoning and land use, and environmental law.

The firm’s clients include several of the largest companies in the world, including Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., Bank of America Corp., J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Kmart Holding Corp., Best Buy Co. Inc., Washington Mutual Bank FA, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc., Staples Inc., Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc., General Motors Acceptance Corporation, GMAC Insurance Holdings, Inc., Circuit City Stores, Inc., and Foot Locker Inc., among others.

These Fortune 500 clients turn to Simmons, Jannace & Stagg for their expertise and experience, and because they are widely recognized as a firm that thinks “outside the box.” All too often, lawyers are slaves to convention, to the status quo. They’re not. They are equally adept at representing small companies, municipalities and individuals, many of whom turn to them for quality representation at a reasonable cost. By truly listening to the needs of their clients and looking for ways to resolve conflicts in nontraditional ways, they have established long-standing relationships with their clients, many of whom they have represented since their inception a decade ago.

They are proud of the trust and loyalty that all of their clients, both large and small, have placed in Simmons, Jannace & Stagg. Their attorneys are encouraged to approach each case with a fresh perspective and to look for opportunities to resolve conflicts in a cost-efficient and effective way. They have successfully tried many cases for their clients, yet have also been successful employing alternative dispute resolution techniques and negotiations on behalf of their clients. Clients turn to them because they listen to their needs and always put their interests first.

In addition to litigation, the firm acts as counsel to business clients and real estate developers in matters involving financing transactions, real estate and general commercial matters. In this area, they have structured a variety of loans and other financing transactions, including real estate and construction loans, asset-based loans, asset securitizations, stock purchase sale and leaseback transactions. Their firm provides guidance in choosing a business form and has organized corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and other legal entities throughout the U.S., as well as negotiated and prepared joint venture agreements and buy/sell agreements.

If you need a litigation attorney, give them a call.
