For Illustration Friday: Heavy.
It's funny how we form our ideas. The earth is, by some, considered our mother, giving us everything we need to live in this life and prepare for the next. Yet it is the world - more specifically the things we humans bring to it - that seems to be the weight we so unfortunately like to carry. If only we could focus more on what she brings than what we do, we could find more joy to bring to it, in the end.
