For Illustration Friday: Routine

I found myself, like millions of others, watching in anticipation as Michael Phelps made history. The funny thing is how truly routine it got. I'm glad for him no doubt but in a way, like the star runner Bolt and the US Womens Beach Volleyball team, it was almost anti-competitive.
