Everything We Hold Sacred

Lately I've been reading some pretty strange opinions from Catholics in my diocese paper about the elections. Some buy into the Democratic appeal for social justice, some are venting about gun ownership and one in particular is wondering why if Sarah Palin knew that having a child a 44 could result in a Downes syndromw baby, why did she have the test to find out ( the insinuation was she was considering aborting). Perhap she, like any wise person, was wanting to be prepared. It's just a medical procedure. What people do with the information is their own choice. I guess this writer forgot about that freedom.
