Iranians Demand Apology For (guess what?) A Cartoon

As I cartoonist...I can't resist this!
"The Iranian Embassy in Berlin on Monday demanded a full apology from a Berlin-based newspaper for depicting Iranian national football team players in an insulting cartoon. In a statement addressed to chief editor of the daily Der Tagesspiegel, the embassy demanded a 'written apology and measures aimed at rectifying this immoral act'. The communiqué added the offensive caricature had caused 'outrage among the Iranian people'.
What is with the Iranians and cartoons? These wacky people have a cartful of wacky "outrage"! Well the truth hurts abit. The caption (and really the question) is correct: "Why the German army should be used during the soccer World Cup!" Maybe they remember Munich as much as Israel. Good for them.
Hear the sabers rattle at Stop The ACLU.
Gribbit has an idea to jog Iran's memory.
