They may be young, but a group of enthusiastic primary schoolchildren are facing the daunting challenge of building a house and making a dream come true for a family in need of a home.
The 12-year-old and 13-year-old children are from Highbury Preparatory School in Hillcrest, which is just one of the schools participating in the Habitat for Humanity initiative.
The organisation's goal is to provide housing for underprivileged families around the world.
Their latest project is to build homes in Sherwood, Durban.
As part of a youth programme, Habitat for Humanity is giving the children an opportunity to do a good deed and bring about positive change in the world around them.Read More...
