Md. Girl's Haircut Goes Toward Good Cause
OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- A Maryland 8-year-old will join an NBC News journalist in donating something very dear -- her hair.
"Today" show news anchor Ann Curry has recently sported longer hair for a good cause. Curry and Owings Mills third-grader Melanie Weiskopf will join hundreds of others in donating their hair on Wednesday to the Locks of Love Campaign, benefiting children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.
