On Board With This!

In support and solidiarity for and with my fellow artists and writers I post this manifesto for freedom of speech printed by Læs Jyllands-Postens:

MANIFESTO: Together facing the new totalitarianism

After having overcome fascism, Nazism, and Stalinism, the world now faces a new totalitarian global threat: Islamism.
We, writers, journalists, intellectuals, call for resistance to religious totalitarianism and for the promotion of freedom, equal opportunity and secular values for all.

The recent events, which occurred after the publication of drawings of Muhammed in European newspapers, have revealed the necessity of the struggle for these universal values. This struggle will not be won by arms, but in the ideological field. It is not a clash of civilisations nor an antagonism of West and East that we are witnessing, but a global struggle that confronts democrats and theocrats.

Like all totalitarianisms, Islamism is nurtured by fears and frustrations. The hate preachers bet on these feelings in order to form battalions destined to impose a liberticidal and unegalitarian world. But we clearly and firmly state: nothing, not even despair, justifies the choice of obscurantism, totalitarianism and hatred. Islamism is a reactionary ideology which kills equality, freedom and secularism wherever it is present. Its success can only lead to a world of domination: man's domination of woman, the Islamists' domination of all the others. To counter this, we must assure universal rights to oppressed or discriminated people.

We reject « cultural relativism », which consists in accepting that men and women of Muslim culture should be deprived of the right to equality, freedom and secular values in the name of respect for cultures and traditions. We refuse to renounce our critical spirit out of fear of being accused of "Islamophobia", an unfortunate concept which confuses criticism of Islam as a religion with stigmatisation of its believers.

We plead for the universality of freedom of expression, so that a critical spirit may be exercised on all continents, against all abuses and all dogmas.

We appeal to democrats and free spirits of all countries that our century should be one of Enlightenment, not of obscurantism.

What happens when you can't get the perfect blend? Going through the strainer? Singing "After The Chill Is Gone"? Long before all that one should have gathered around the tea table for the 411 on Tea 101.

That is unless you are hiding a dark secret... Then no amount of steeping will do.

Guard The Borders Blogburst - I'd Love To Teach The World To Speak...

Crossposted with Euphoric Reality:

As a parent with two kids in Texas schools, I have a pet peeve. I really, really resent that their education is hampered by kids who can’t speak English. I’ve seen classes that move mind-bogglingly slow as teachers have to work one-on-one with children who shouldn’t be there in the first place. It’s enough to make me grind my teeth in frustration!

I am a big proponent of the immersion method of learning a language. It is my firm belief that once in America, immigrants should learn our language, and the best way is by complete and total immersion. When we lived in Mexico, we placed my son into a public school in the local village so that he could learn the language more rapidly. I continued to teach him at home what he needed to know to keep his education above American standards, and his classroom experience was for language purposes only. We asked for no special considerations, we just did what was necessary. It was not easy, but it worked.

That is only one of the reasons it is so offensive to see our tax dollars paying for immigrants, many of them here illegally, to receive special dispensations because they can’t (or won’t) learn our language! But why should they learn, when almost everything is bi-lingual anyways?

Recently in Arizona, an activist judge has ruled that it’s not enough that American citizens pay for a free education for the children of illegal aliens, and it’s not enough that the classes are dumbed-down for non-English speakers, but now the taxpayers must pay exorbitant funds to provide special classes for children who don’t speak English!

One of the most outrageous examples of out-of-control judges is the case called Flores v. Arizona, now pending in federal court in Tucson. Originally filed in 1992, plaintiff lawyers claim to represent an estimated 160,000 children of illegal immigrants attending Arizona public schools.

The case seeks to force Arizona taxpayers to pay for bringing these children, euphemistically called English Language Learners, up to grade level. The lawyers are trying to accomplish this by turning a state legislative issue into a federal judicial command.

The background for attempting to accord special “rights” to non-American, non-English speaking residents was predicated on a case in Alabama where liberals tried to add the word “language” to the Civil Rights Act, thereby making it illegal to discriminate on the basis of language. While the case was originally successful in the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, it was reversed by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Based upon that, Arizona Judge Alfredo C. Marquez, appointed by Jimmy Carter, ruled against the Arizona taxpayers, but had enough restraint to recognize that he could not substitute the court's "educational values and theories for the educational and political decisions reserved to state or local school authorities." Nevertheless, he tasked the legislature with performing a cost study.

Over the next few years, the Arizona legislature passed three bills for this special funding. However, none of them were as large as Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, a Democrat, wanted and so she vetoed all three. Governor Napolitano wanted the Arizona Legislature to appropriate nearly $1,200 per immigrant child, totaling $192 million, without accountability for how it was to be spent. Obviously, the governor, with the judge’s ruling on her side, could sit and wait until the legislature saw things her way.

Unfortunately, the next judge in succession of Marquez, upped the ante. Appointed by Bill Clinton, Judge Ramer C. Collins, decided to punitively fine the Arizona State Legislature for not funding special accommodations for non-English speaking students.

In December 2005, Collins imposed fines of $500,000 a day, escalating to $2 million a day, for every day that the legislature fails to authorize funding acceptable to the governor.
[…]
Since Jan. 25, millions of dollars in court-ordered fines have been accumulating. If this continues to the end of the legislative session, the fines will total more than $77 million.

Who knew that an activist judge could legislate taxes and state funding?

If there is any issue that should be clearly and exclusively a function of the legislature elected by the people it is the matter of raising taxes and spending the people's money. Unfortunately, there are many supremacist judges who think they (in this case, a judge and a governor) can order the legislature to raise taxes and tell them how to spend taxpayer money.

While many Americans in other states think that these problems are confined to the four states with Hispanic majorities (TX, CA, AZ, and NM) - think again. Small towns across America are finding their educational systems utterly compromised by an influx of illegal workers and their families: Melrose, MN; Delavan, WI; Herndon, VA; Wassau, WI; Des Moines, IA; Raleigh, NC; Fort Myers, FL; Sioux Falls, SD; Grand Rapids, MI and North Platte, NE. Still think it’s not your problem?!

As one small town resident has said, “I, along with millions of other American citizens, am sick and tried of the politicians and others treating illegal aliens like honored guests! They are not honored, and they are not guests.”

Waiting On Jill

The deadline has passed and I have prayed throughout the weekend. I'm not sure how this is going to be answereb BUT Iraqi Interior Minister Bayan Jabur al Zubaidi believes Jill Carroll is alive.

He said he knew who had abducted the 28-year-old journalist. "We know his name and address, and we are following up on him as well as the Americans," Zubaidi said. "I think she is still alive."

The minister said the problem was that authorities don't know where Carroll was being held, and that the original kidnappers may have sold her to a more radical group. Plus, he said, their demands could change.

"They want to get more and more," he said. "The release of women, the release of some bad guys from the terrorists and maybe at the end they will need money."

Nothing like having you life depend on dis-organized crime. Read the full ABC report.

But... is it Art?

"The Singing Butler" by Jack Vettriano

He out-sells Monet and Van Gogh on coffee cups, mousepads and dishtowels... Critics scorn this million dollar pop art as "soulless" and "inoffensive enough". (That's interesting...perhaps they were looking for something more along the lines of a Mohammad cartoon?) Anyway, art by Jack Vettriano has been as successful as it has been scrutinized since being publicly displayed in the early '80s. His painting "Dance Me To The End Of Love" is being auctioned in Edinburgh next month despite the fact that gallery owners refuse to show his paintings. Read More...

I think the critics out there should give the man a break. He paints what he likes, how he likes AND he has an audience for it. More power to him. At least his success is arriving while he is alive.

As for what constitutes "bad art"? I don't know. Given art is an expression of the artist, does ones distaste for a certain style or lack of artistic prowess make the artist, then, "bad"? It doesn't work this way but the snobbery can make it seem that way.

Bad art isn't really that bad anyway... Or is it? Visit the Museum of Bad Art.

Australians Against Islamonopoly

I'm against Islamonopoly too...I made that up. I figure if you can attach "ophobia" behind anything people might fear (like Islam for instance, and rightly so) I can put "monopoly" behind anything that wants to own everything (like Islam for instance)!

The Australian PM is not backing down on his support of comments made by Treasurer Peter Costello. Muslim leaders are calling for PM Howard "to censure Mr Costello over his speech last night to the Sydney Institute in which he said anyone who believed Islamic sharia law could co-exist with Australian law should move to a country where they felt more comfortable."

Countries like...Saudi Arabia - which "bans all public expression of any non-Muslim religion and sometimes arrests Christians even for worshipping privately."

Or Pakistan which "allows churches to operate but its Islamic laws effectively deprive Christians of many rights."

Wow!!! Bravo to the PM...someone in power is standing up to the Culture of Dhimmitude.

And here is some one else: How about a vote of no confidence in Nigeria... "Officials of the Nigerian Christian Association (CAN), Borno State chapter, led by its vice chairman, Reverend Joel Bili, have on Monday, passed a vote of no-confidence in the state police commissioner and the Director of State Security Service, SSS, for allegedly failing to provide the necessary security for Christians in the state during last Saturday's mayhem." Uh...50 Christians killed? I would say that is a little more than "allegedly". Is it just me or do the Muslims give us reason to worry about an UAE Ports Deal?

"The A-C-L-U Freedom Files" gets the can. And the ACLU is just a grouch about it. Montana State Library cancels it's showing and they have to find a new venue.

"Executive Director Scott Chrichton says the A-C-L-U Montana applauds the Lewis and Clark library for recognizing the need for an open dialogue on the issue.

The State Library called off its showing of the film, after residents and state employees complained about the A-C-L-U being involved."

So what they are saying, Scott, is that it is not about open dialogue...it's about YOU! Time to take a hint.

World Of Good Wednesday - Dr. Gallup and Mississippi's Forgotten

I found this article and I felt I should share it with you in this Blogburst. If you find it too hard to read on my site you can find it also here.

Doctor refuses to forget Mississippi’s Forgotten ‘The Lord sent us here’

The Kansas City Star

The way she figures it, Beth Gallup had a geographic destiny to wind up in storm-ravaged Mississippi. The daughter of an Army man, she grew up in Hurricane, W.Va., and then moved with her family to Defiance, Ohio. And she admits to a defiant streak, which may help explain how she followed her own path and maybe butted a few heads in taking emergency medical care to hundreds of victims of Hurricane Katrina. She thought she’d be in the region for a week or two.She ended up staying four months.

A trim, athletic, single woman of 49, with red hair and a direct voice, the Johnson County physician was independent and mostly unattached to charitable groups from all over who were also working in the storm’s aftermath. As a result she often operated without a net. She used her instincts as a caregiver and her entrepreneurial drive to help people however she could, spending much of her own money in the process.
Even so, Gallup’s experience in Mississippi opens a window to the chaos that followed the storm and to the enormous need that thousands of victims there still are facing.

Almost immediately after the storm hit, Gallup packed her black Infiniti SUV with medical gear, pharmaceuticals and her little Italian greyhound Beamer. She’d named the dog for Todd Beamer, the “Let’s roll” hero of hijacked Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania on the day of the 9/11 attacks. “Todd Beamer gave of himself to save people he did not even know,” Gallup says. “It was the ultimate act of courage. He did what he felt he had to do.”

In a similar spirit, Gallup headed to the Gulf Coast. “People were slack-jawed, injured, dazed after what they’d been through,” Gallup says. “These were people who’d lost everything.” Food and drinkable water were scarce. Electricity was out. And prescription medicines had been washed away with their homes.

Gallup began by approaching clumps of people and asking who needed help.

Read the rest of the story here.

The World of Good Wednesday Blogburst exists to bring to light the good that people, churches, organizations, and civic groups do in the world. Today we honor Dr. Beth Gallup her selfless giving in providing medical care to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Gallup for her good work.

Birds Of A Feather Rock Together

For Illustration Friday: Song

I was tagged by Angel! So here's the deal...

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your blog along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they’re listening to. Just link here and trackback when you make your list, and tell the folks you tag to do the same so you can enjoy their posts.

Well I can't say that I'm into any particular seven songs but working on my illustration and given the "subject matter", here is a list of some songs I've been thinking of. Synchronistic isn't it. You know "Song" and then tagged for 7 songs. Oohhhh! Coinceedink? I think not! I get to kill two birds with one stone (I really HATE that cliche')!

Ok...from the top!

1. --Bluebird by Paul McCartney and Wings

2. Free As A Bird by The Beatles

3. -- Three Little Birds by Bob Marley

4. Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd

5. Eight Miles High by the Byrds

6. I am like a Bird by Nelly Furtado

7. Fly Like An Eagle by The Steve Miller Band

Does anyone sense a theme here?

I'll reveal who I'm tagging shortly...hehehe.

Guard The Borders Blogburst- Secure Our Borders Campaign

MINUTEMAN CIVIL DEFENSE CORPS
ANNOUNCES NATIONWIDE ‘SECURE OUR BORDERS’ OPERATION FOR APRIL 2006

(PHOENIX, AZ) February 16, 2006 – Chris Simcox, President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”), today announced plans for the group’s nationwide “Secure Our Borders” campaign in April 2006. Simcox also announced a new operational structure for the original Minuteman Border Project to meet the growing needs of the continued expansion of Minuteman border security operations.

Thousands of MCDC volunteers, augmented by the new national support team, will hold border watch patrols in northern and southern states along an estimated 800 miles of international borders during the month of April. The Minutemen will observe and report suspected illegal border crossings to the proper authorities. As always, they will maintain a “no contact” policy with the exception of providing emergency water to those illegal aliens found in distress in the wilderness.

Last year, MCDC revolutionized the national debate about border security and illegal immigration by focusing the nation’s attention on the dangers of America’s wide-open borders in a post 9/11 world. The Minutemen have demonstrated that the borders can be secured with sufficient political will and dedication.

Since the MCDC 23-mile border watch in April, 2005, interest in joining and supporting the Minutemen has exploded nationwide. MCDC chapters have been formed in southern and northern border states, as well as interior states. To date, 6,500 men and women have passed the required background check and interviews to qualify to become official Minuteman Border Project volunteers – with more waiting in the queue for approval. Over 120,000 people have become friends of the Minutemen through their support and volunteer work.

Given the success of the Minuteman Border Project efforts, and two successful month long 24/7 operations conducted in April and October of 2005, a new national volunteer operational structure has been launched to support the Minutemen. The new structure is necessary to respond to these thousands of volunteers and supporters asking what they can do to help.

MCDC has asked for and accepted the help of experienced border volunteers who have been on the front lines, some for as long as four years. With this expansion we will be ready for the thousands of volunteers who will participate in the “Secure Our Borders” operation in April 2006. This expansion further solidifies MCDC’s ability to continue the largest neighborhood watch effort in American history. The Minutemen will continue their civil defense operations assisting authorities in securing the U.S. borders with Mexico and Canada until properly relieved.

Contact MCDC at (520)829-3112 or info@minutemanhq.com

President's Day 2006

Well, it is hard to imagine what American life would be like without President George W. Bush. I shudder to think what acquiescing Al Gore would have conceded to our enemies in the name of "world peace" after 9/11. And Waffling John Kerry? He'd have give over our front door keys to the U.N. Human Rights Committee as soon as he stepped in office. Both Al Gore and former president Bill Clinton declared themselves traitors and anti-American in kissing up to the Saudi's and advising to convict cartoonists for doing their job. It is clear that these men do not speak for America anymore.

Thank you President Bush for showing strong, unwavering leadership in a time when your opponents wish to hand our nation over to our enemies, in a perfect gesture of dhimmitude.

That being said, just one more thing...About protecting our harbors...Our national anthem was written in the Baltimore Harbor, one of the ports now being handed over to the United Arab Emirates. You cannot let this happen. Deception is a part of our enemies game. Don't even let them on the field.

Open TrackBack Sunday - Fighting Cartoons With More Cartoons

Announcing Another Cartoon contest :

NPR-"February 16, 2006 · A new tactic has emerged in the angry debate over cartoons depicting religious figures, as an Israeli artist launches a contest for the best anti-Semitic cartoon -- drawn by a Jew. Amitai Sandy says the Israeli Anti-Semitic Cartoons Contest is a response to an Iranian newspaper's competition for cartoons on the Holocaust.

Sandy, who is also the publisher of Dimona Comix, describes the issue as a matter of pride. He insists that Jews can offer sharper, more offensive satire of themselves than anyone. After the contest's deadline of March 5, 2006, the winners will be displayed in Tel Aviv."

It would be interesting to see these radical Muslims parody themselves...oh wait they've already done that!

Sunday Nugget - A Real "Yes" Man

Open up a big ole' can of AMEN!

From today's second reading:

I swear by God’s truth, there is no Yes and No about what we say to you. The Son of God, the Christ Jesus that we proclaimed among you – I mean Silvanus and Timothy and I – was never Yes and No: with him it was always Yes, and however many the promises God made, the Yes to them all is in him. That is why it is ‘through him’ that we answer Amen to the praise of God. Remember it is God himself who assures us all, and you, of our standing in Christ, and has anointed us, marking us with his seal and giving us the pledge, the Spirit, that we carry in our hearts. 2 Corinthians 1:18 - 22

Just something to think about this morning... Hoping your day is an "Amen to the praise of God" and one big holy YES!!!

More Looney Tunacy!

Violent and inane protests continue in Asia where "protests in Pakistan have been large and violent and many have taken on a distinctly anti-U.S. tone. Demonstrators, in addition to burning Danish flags, have attacked U.S. fast-food outlets and burned U.S. President George W. Bush in effigy."

Pardon me for interrupting your excuse for rioting but, while Ronald McDonald was unavailable for comment, the U.S. State Department condemned those dumb cartoons. So now it's just becoming a case of dumb and dumber.

One rioter is quoted, "We believe in the Prophet Mohammad and we respect him more than our families or anything, if he is hurt and there are sacrilegious cartoons, of course we will be upset." Let me just say that this Muslim has his priorities right, eh? Mohammad was a man and NOT God and probably isn't even WITH God right now. And if by pure chance he IS, don't you think he is more hurt by the wholesale killing and abuse and lies being perpetrated in his name? File under: dumber.

Read Jacob the Syrian Hamster's take at The Scratching Post.

Don't forget about Israel's take on the Iran Holocaust cartoon contest. Do good and SEO it.

Meanwhile Islamofacists ask Europe to consider becoming an Islamic State with Blasphemy Laws which benefit only Muslims. There are other blasphemies...like saying Jesus Christ was only a prophet and did NOT die as payment for the sins of humanity, redeeming mankind. OR that Allah is in anyway the same God as Abraham worshipped. I'm just saying... and I love the new term "Islamophobia". How about we talk about "Dhimmitopia"? Muslims need to get over it.

Also: Who wants to be a millionaire? Play with "Mohammed" Yousaf Qureshi at Michelle Malkin, Stop the ACLU, and Atlas Shrugs.

Stop The ACLU Blogburst - Tar and Feather Suit

The ACLU is suing to protect the right of legislators to Tar and Feather each other in the court of public opinion. If this doesn't smack of being purely partisan politics, nothing does.

The sued party said, "I have been sued hundreds and hundreds of times, but I don't expect it from a colleague sitting in front of me in the middle of a session, I just think it's kind of ridiculous and I hope it's not going to be indicative of the way things are going." Too late for that my friend! It would seem reason and civility are against the principles of the ACLU and the Liberals.

And when they are not lambasting the Right, they are grilling the Boy Scouts.

Israel Launches SEO Contest Against Iran Holocaust Cartoons.

Using technology to fight Anti-Semitism. Some may say this is suppression of the freedom of expression. In a way it is but I say it is also freedom from idiocy. So I intend on making appropriate changes to use SEO on my site for this campaign. Check out the site for more info. Do Good. Stop Blatant Lies and Hatred.

Allah Has A Cow!

Thousands flock to see 'divine' calf-

Some 20,000 thousand people had gathered in front of Mohammed Abu Dif's house in the village of Tunis to see the holy mammal, whose skin folds when he was born reportedly formed the words "There is no God but Allah", a police official said on condition of anonymity. Witnesses said they believed the calf was "Allah's response to current attacks against Islam", the official said.

Really, you can't make this stuff up! I guess it's not much different than the Virgin Mother's face on a grilled cheese sandwich, but at least you can see it AND sell it on Ebay!

Some "Skin" On Valentine's Day

Get connected and participate in the Relay for Life.

Now that I've got your attention. The Mrs. and I want to wish you the best Valentine's Day ever. This video affected us on many levels. The two of us have found true love, and have been touched by both the tragedy of cancer (my side of the family) and the joy of cancer survival (Mitzi's side of the family). So we would like to encourage you to click on the link above and just check out what "Relay for Life" events are being offered in your area. And perhaps the love that is celebrated today can make a difference in someone's tomorrow.

Thanks,
Joe and Mitzi

Iranians Demand Apology For (guess what?) A Cartoon

As I cartoonist...I can't resist this!

"The Iranian Embassy in Berlin on Monday demanded a full apology from a Berlin-based newspaper for depicting Iranian national football team players in an insulting cartoon. In a statement addressed to chief editor of the daily Der Tagesspiegel, the embassy demanded a 'written apology and measures aimed at rectifying this immoral act'. The communiqué added the offensive caricature had caused 'outrage among the Iranian people'.

What is with the Iranians and cartoons? These wacky people have a cartful of wacky "outrage"! Well the truth hurts abit. The caption (and really the question) is correct: "Why the German army should be used during the soccer World Cup!" Maybe they remember Munich as much as Israel. Good for them.

Hear the sabers rattle at Stop The ACLU.

Gribbit has an idea to jog Iran's memory.

Dhimmicratic Hunting Accidents

The Liberals went hunting this weekend too.

Al Gore tracks Bush in Saudi Arabia:

"Gore said Arabs had been “indiscriminately rounded up” and held in “unforgivable” conditions. The former vice president said the Bush administration was playing into al-Qaida’s hands by routinely blocking Saudi visa applications." Read more at Oblogatory Anecdotes...

Hey Al, I'm sooo glad you're not the President. By the way Al, weren't most of the 9/11 hijackers Saudi's. Which side are you on, Ali Gore...don't you know to never use the word "unforgivable" in a speech to Muslims...sheeeeeech! Why? Can you say "Dhimmitude?"

Sunday Nugget - Jesus Wants To

From today's gospel reading:

A leper came to him and pleaded on his knees: "If you want to" he said "you can cure me". Feeling sorry for him, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him. "Of course I want to!" he said. "Be cured!" And the leprosy left him at once and he was cured. Jesus immediately sent him away and sternly ordered him, "Mind you say nothing to anyone, but go and show yourself to the priest, and make the offering for your healing prescribed by Moses as evidence of your recovery". The man went away, but then started talking about it freely and telling the story everywhere, so that Jesus could no longer go openly into any town, but had to stay outside in places where nobody lived. Even so, people from all around would come to him. Mark 1:40 - 45

Jesus, if you want to you can cure me. You can cleanse me of the leprosy of my sin. You can heal my world. We are surrounded by rationalism and materialism, by violence and cynicism, where we sin without thinking both by commission as well as omissionnecessity nessecity that we KNOW without a doubt that Jesus wants to. He wants to cure us. He wants to remove the darkness of sin and bring us back into the sunlight of His love. It is our job to bring our ailing selves to Him for that healing grace.

In a spiritual manner we are all lepers looking for wholeness. As ugly and embarrassing our disease there can only be joy when our priest brings us back into the Lord's house. Take time today to bring your ills to the perfect healer, because as much as you want to be cured, He wants to cure infinitely more.

Open TrackBack Saturday - Protest This!!

As has been stated repeatedly around the Blogosphere, the "real" Muslim cartoon is the lack of response to the truly offensive. 12 Mohammed cartoons are published and the Muslim world is enraged. A 28 year old journalist is given until February 26 to live and the only protesters are these men in Rome. My guess is they are good Catholics. What a glaring contrast to Islam, with it's so-called "silent majority". Where is the "outrage" for this? What if Jill Carroll were your child, or sister? I think 12 stupid editorial cartoons would be the farthest thing from your mind. The religion of "pieces" peaks again on my hypocrisy meter.

What Clash Of Civilizations?

The way we view others and react towards them has become a hot point with recent world events. The images of riots and mullahs pronouncing condemnation on certain aspects of freedom, have become a tragomedy.

I was watching Hannity and Colmes last night and they had a representative of the New Black Panther Party, Malik Zulu Shabazz as a guest. During the interview he refused to condemn the violent reaction to the Muhammed cartoons. Here was a Black American who for all intents and purposes agreed with the call to violence. I was disturbed that this man answered the yes/no question, "will you renounce the violence?" with a flurry of verbal attacks on America and the Bush Administration. I say if there is any American citizen that deserves a good wiretapping it is him.

I honestly believe he couldn't help himself. Nor do I believe this is a situation that will be readily or easily resolved. When people are brought up in dens of hatred, this individual and others like him are the result. Is the divide between Islam and the West too great? I don't know but let's look at a couple of simple examples (scroll over for text).

Welcome to the House of the Lord Happy Ashura-Welcome to the Rule of Muhammed

But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. Matthew 5:39 (New Testament) The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them. Qur’an 8:59

Stop The ACLU Blogburst - Hillary And Security

From today's editorial for Daily News Record:

"Prior to her talk at Bridgewater College, scheduled for Thursday night, ACLU President Nadine Strossen questioned elements of the Bush administration’s surveillance program by posing an intriguing question.

'If Hillary Clinton were president, would they (conservatives) feel comfortable with (the electronic surveillance program)? I don’t think so,' Strossen said.

Granted, if given the authority over America’s national security apparatus, Sen. Clinton might be tempted to use it to keep track of Bill. However, if President Hillary Clinton had been in office when a 9-11 attack occurred, one assumes she would use the program to listen in on America’s enemies."

Well first let me say my personal feeling is "God forbid another Clinton in the Whitehouse". Second? Dream on liberal ninnies. If you think for one second President Hillary would not have used these same powers herself, than why would you want her for a President? Perhaps you are inspired by the ACLU to set up "Anger Management Clinics in Mecca? Good luck with all that...

Funeral Crashers

Well the Democrats show their..er..class again. Using a funeral to pound their political pulpit, they simply come off as brash and arrogant. As if Dr. and Mrs. King's legacy belonged only to the looney left. It is just another way of paying their "disrespects", not only to a head of state but to the deceased they are there to memorialize.

This reminds me of the ridiculous Paul Wellstone funeral. Democrats must have short term memory loss.

Lots of coverage on this at Stop The ACLU and Michelle Malkin.

Breaking News: Yetis Riot Worldwide

In response to the release of the film "Bigfoot Park", Yetis worldwide have staged violent protests. Angered at being characterized as a "myth" and "smelly, savage, beasts", Bigfeet and Sasquatches marched en masse in cities carrying signs saying "Freedom go to fur!" and "Shave those who insult Mapinguari". In Australia Yowie's were seen stomping on the British Columbian Flag and throwing flaming chunks of their own dung at the BC embassy.

Reports have surfaced that several Radical Abominable Snowmen may have stirred up the unrest by touring Bigfoot areas with the film and adding some footage of King Kong, Mighty Joe Young and cartoon images of Curious George, calling them inflammatory and unforgivable acts of anti-yetism.
